Terra Aquatica, formerly known as General Hydroponics Europe (GHE), offers three distinct base systems that scale from beginner-friendly simplicity to professional-level precision. Three systems for three growing styles

What sets Terra Aquatica apart from most nutrient brands is structure. Instead of offering a single product line with add-ons, the brand provides three complete feeding systems, each designed for a different level of grower involvement. All three work on soil, coco and hydro, and each system accounts for water hardness — a detail that matters more than most growers realise, especially in Belgium where tap water quality varies significantly between regions.

Popular models by system

The TriPart system is the flagship of the brand. For starting with hard water (Brussels, Wallonia), the Pack XXL TriPart Hard Water contains all three components in 5 L format. For soft water (Flanders), the Pack XXL TriPart Soft Water is the equivalent. To test the system, the TriPack Soft Water 0.5 L is ideal.

The NovaMax system simplifies to two bottles. The NovaMax Grow 473 ml is the entry size to test the hybrid formula, and the NovaMax Grow 946 ml is the standard format. The TriPack NovaMax includes Grow, Bloom and a supplement for a complete start. The DualPart system has a dedicated coco version with the TriPack DualPart Coco that compensates for the calcium-magnesium exchange naturally occurring in coco fibres.

Essential supplements

For organic growers, Urtimax 1 L is a nettle extract that boosts growth and strengthens natural plant resistance. Silicate 1 L strengthens cell walls for sturdier stems. FinalPart accelerates maturation in the final weeks and improves flavour. FlashClean dissolves salt buildup in substrates and irrigation systems. Fulvic enhances nutrient transport in the root zone, and Calcium Magnesium addresses deficiencies common with soft or reverse osmosis water.

TriPart mixing order and dosage

With TriPart, mixing order is critical. Always add FloraMicro to the water first, stir thoroughly, then FloraGro, then FloraBloom. This sequence prevents calcium (from FloraMicro) from precipitating with sulphates (from FloraBloom), forming unusable white flakes. Measure EC after complete mixing and adjust pH to 5.5-6.5 depending on your substrate. The ideal nutrient solution temperature is between 18 and 22 °C. With hard tap water, start at a lower dose than the feeding chart suggests since your water already contains calcium and magnesium.
