Why are the coco plugs 35 mm while the peat plugs are 41 mm?
The size difference reflects the different expansion properties of coir versus peat. At 35 mm, the coco plugs are slightly more compact, which suits smaller seeds and cuttings. For larger seeds or thicker cuttings, the 41 mm peat version provides more substrate volume.
