The 100 mm coupling is a straight connector for joining two flexible 100 mm ventilation ducts. Slide both ends onto the tube and secure each with a hose clamp for an airtight joint.
When do you need a coupling?
Not every duct run can be done in a single piece. When the route is too long, bends around an obstacle, or a section is damaged, a coupling joins two pieces without tearing down the whole setup. Cut away the bad section and reconnect the good pieces.
Installation tips
Push each duct at least 5 cm over the connector. Secure both sides with a hose clamp and check for leaks by running your hand along the joint while the fan is on. A tight connection preserves airflow through your Alu-Dec 102 mm duct.

Does a duct coupling reduce airflow?
A properly fitted coupling has virtually no impact on airflow. The inner diameter matches the duct so there is no restriction. Just make sure the duct sits snugly and does not kink or fold at the connection point.
