The 160–200 mm ducting reducer bridges mid-size and large ventilation systems. Connect an Alu-Dec 163 mm duct to a 200 mm channel to prepare your system for higher air volume.
The next level in ventilation
When a 160 mm system no longer moves enough air for your expanding grow space, upgrading to 200 mm is the answer. The reducer lets you reuse existing 160 mm parts while building out the new 200 mm line.
Proper fitting
Slide the ducts onto both ends and secure with appropriate clamps. On the 200 mm side a 60–270 mm clamp is recommended. Place the reducer on a straight section for the least turbulence.

Which hose clamp fits which side of the reducer?
On the 160 mm side use a 60–170 mm clamp. On the 200 mm side use a 60–270 mm clamp. Always check that the clamp range matches the outer diameter of the duct, especially with insulated Sono-Connect hoses which are thicker.
