The 125–200 mm ducting reducer connects the most common grow diameter of 125 mm to the professional 200 mm format. Ideal for joining an Alu-Dec 127 mm duct to a wide 200 mm exhaust channel or existing infrastructure.
A big jump, a considered choice
The step from 125 to 200 mm is significant. Air speed drops sharply at the transition to the wider duct. This can be desirable for reducing turbulence and noise, but keep in mind that a 125 mm fan will not fully utilise a 200 mm channel. For maximum performance, plan to upgrade the fan as well.
Fitting a large-gap reducer
Position the reducer on a straight section, not right after a bend. Secure both sides with appropriate clamps — a 60–270 mm clamp on the 200 mm side is recommended. The reducer is fairly long due to the large diameter difference, so factor it into your route planning.
