The 250 Watt Lumatek lighting kit is the most compact entry point into Lumatek digital ballast technology. Designed for small grow tents around 80x80 cm and growers starting their first indoor setup, the kit includes a four-step dimmable ballast — 150W, 175W, 250W and 275W Super Lumens — a Lumatek 250W HPS bloom lamp and a mirror reflector with pre-wired cables. 250W Lumatek Lighting Kit — Entry-Level Digital HPS System for Small Grow Spaces

The 250 Watt Lumatek kit brings Lumatek digital ballast performance to the smallest grow spaces. Weighing just 2 kg and measuring 200 x 114 x 81 mm, this is the most compact lighting kit in the Lumatek range — engineered for tents around 80x80 cm and growers who want professional-grade light control without oversizing their setup.

Progressive Dimming for Every Growth Stage

The ballast offers four discrete output levels, allowing growers to scale intensity as plants develop:

  • 150W: low-stress setting for fresh clones and seedlings sensitive to high PPFD.
  • 175W: intermediate output for early vegetative growth and acclimatisation.
  • 250W: rated power for full vegetative and flowering cycles.
  • 275W Super Lumens: 10% boost for peak flowering demand — available on HPS lamps only.

The soft-dim function ramps power gradually during transitions to extend lamp life. The ballast fires both HPS and MH lamps at 150W and 250W, giving growers the flexibility to run a blue-spectrum metal halide during veg and switch to a red-spectrum HPS for bloom.

Specifications and Protection

Input voltage is 240V 50/60Hz with a max draw of 1.20A and 265W input power. Power factor exceeds 0.99. High-frequency operation eliminates flicker and audible noise entirely. Full circuit protection covers open/short circuit, over-temperature, voltage fluctuation and end-of-lamp-life scenarios. EMI suppression is certified and each unit undergoes a 12-hour factory burn-in test for reliability assurance. The kit ships with a Lumatek 250W HPS lamp, a mirror reflector and pre-wired connection cables — ready to hang and run.
