A wall bushing is a cylindrical fitting that passes through the wall of your grow space, creating a fixed opening for your ventilation duct. On the inside, you slide flexible ducting over the bushing and lock it in place with a hose clamp — air then exhausts directly to the outside with no gaps or leaks.

Bushings in 100, 125, 160 and 200 mm

Choose the diameter that matches your ducting and extractor fan:

Bushing 100 mm – for compact setups and small fans

How do I install a wall bushing in my grow room?

Cut or drill a hole matching the bushing's outer diameter in your wall panel, MDF board, or partition. Insert the bushing and fix it in place. From the inside, slide flexible ducting over the bushing and tighten a hose clamp to hold it securely. Air then flows directly outside through a clean, airtight passage.

Which bushing diameter should I choose?

Match the bushing diameter to your ducting and extractor fan — all three should be the same size for an airtight fit. 125 mm is the most common choice for standard grow tents. For larger spaces or high-airflow extractors, go for 160 or 200 mm.
