Where does CBD oil come from?

Cannabidiol (CBD) oil is a supplement derived from the hemp plant. Once CBD has been extracted from the plant, it is mixed with a carrier oil - often olive, coconut or medium chain triglyceride oil (MCT) - to make CBD oil.

How CBD oil works?

CBD works via the (ECS), endocannabinoid system, a cell signaling system. The ECS consists of cannabinoids that are naturally produced by the body, receptors that respond to those cannabinoids, and enzymes that help break them down and use them.

Types of CBD oil.

Most CBD oil products fall into one of three categories: full spectrum, broad spectrum, and isolate.

Full Spectrum.

Full-spectrum CBD products contain all extracts of the hemp plant - CBD, terpenes, flavonoids, essential oils and other cannabinoids present in the plant.

Broad spectrum.

Broad spectrum CBD products also contain all extracts of the hem plant.

Also known as pure CBD, isolate is harvested from the hemp using extraction methods that leave behind all the other components of the plant. CBD isolate products contain pure CBD.
